THE OTHER JESUS.
The Chosen is sold as the authentic Christ. The Kingdom Enterprises documentary treats that claim as the first thing to test.
It is not just a show. It is a company.
Dallas Jenkins is the evangelical face — creator, director. The film names him as a 44% holder. The rest of the ledger is not window dressing. Derral Eves, LDS, is executive producer and co-founder. Brad Pelo, LDS, is the president who opened the Church’s private Jerusalem set in Goshen, Utah. Jeffrey and Neal Harmon, LDS, built VidAngel / Angel Studios, the early pipe into the evangelical market.
Then the sentence the film will not drop: “We love the same Jesus.” Later came the walk-back — only “friends,” not the whole church. Official LDS doctrine stays off-set so the brand can travel.
That question is person, not mood. The LDS Jesus is a spirit-brother of Lucifer, not eternally God, progressed into deity. The Bible’s Jesus is the uncreated Word, I AM, peace through the blood of His cross. If the person is different, the picture is different.
Jenkins has said most of the series is not from Scripture. Repent drops out. John 3:16 stays. 3:18–19 leaves. The face on screen becomes the face people pray toward. Scale rewards a Christ every tradition can project onto.
2 Corinthians 11:4. Galatians 1:8. 2 Corinthians 6:14.
