KINGDOM OF THE OCCULT
Dr. Walter Martin. Christian Video Vault. Hidden things. Open demons. One test: Scripture.
The church went soft. The occult did not.
1 Peter 3:15 — be ready to give an answer.
2 Timothy 4:2 — preach, reprove, rebuke, exhort.
Jude 3 — contend for the faith.
Love without doctrine is a disarmed church.
Martin’s count: 20 million in cults. 60 million in the occult. Horoscopes from 200 papers to 1,200. Covens from 280 to past 400. On some campuses the Satanic Bible outsold Scripture.
There is no white witchcraft. If the power is not from God, it is not clean. Test everything. Acts 17.
Why they knock: science left them cold. Materialism emptied the sky. Apostasy emptied the pulpit. They want meaning. The occult sells certainty.
A clergyman slammed a Bible on a Ouija board. It knew what it should not know. It cursed the Scriptures. It claimed it stood at the resurrection. She renounced it. She came to Christ. The dead do not chat. Demons impersonate.
1 Samuel 28. Endor. The medium was shocked. This was not her power. Judgment followed.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12. Leviticus 20:6. Exodus 22:18. Ephesians 6:12.
Interpretation belongs to God. Genesis 40:8.
The other dimension is not empty. It is occupied.
2 Corinthians 11:14 — Satan as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:4 — another Jesus, another gospel.
Galatians 5:20 — witchcraft is a work of the flesh.
1 John 4:1 — test the spirits.
Compassion for the captive. No treaty with the captor.
